Swedish Naval Observer

Originally designated in 1981 for wear by “tactical officers of the Navy”, but in reality issued to helicopter personnel other than pilots. Made of gilt metal and worn above the right-hand breast pocket. The design features two cannon barrels behind an anchor, surmounted by the King’s crown, with a pair of straight wings protruding from the cannon barrels. Un-numbered. Design: Uno Ljungdahl. Since 1995, a woven cloth version is also allowed for wear on the battle uniform, to the top of the right-hand sleeve.
