Swedish Aviation Branch of Service Badge (enlisted)


Before the organisation of the Royal Swedish Air Force in 1926, enlisted men from the Navy or Army assigned to flying services, but not themselves involved with airborn service, wore a fabric sleeve badge.

    The design by Nils Kindberg. Service badge for enlisted (non-flying) personnel of the aviation units. The badge was punched out in yellow cloth and then applied to a dark blue backing, sewn to the upper left sleeve. Issued by order 908 on October 11th 1924.
