The standard insignia of the Royal Swedish Air Force is very similar to the design of the early aviation wings and was formally adopted as such in 1930. It is used in many applications, as cap badges of various sizes, on shoulder boards and on sleeve insignia for example. The cap badges should not be confused with the early flight badges. Note the different sizes and the specific size of the early flight badges.
